About Me

My name is Jess.

I’m 20 years old (though depending on the situation I may act immensely younger or quite older) and I live in the frozen wasteland/muggy hell known as small-town Wisconsin.

Though my interests seem to vary wildly from time to time, there are a few things that never fail to capture my attention. I’ve been in love with vampires and folklore since the tender age of nine and have been captivated by all things “melancholy”, “dark”or “gloomy” since I was about 12/13 years old. I have some interest in anime and manga, though not quite as much as I used to. I enjoy sewing, drawing, writing and playing my guitar/the piano.

My favorite book/book series is probably Lord of The Rings —though it’s closely followed by Harry Potter. I also like Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass, Atlas Shrugged, The Catcher in the Rye and (what I’ve read of) the Artemis Fowl series. I just enjoy reading in general and it would be a ridiculously long list if I wrote down all the books I like.

I usually lounge around my house in pajamas but I’ve got a real love for fashion and clothing design. When I actually go out I tend to wear Gothic Lolita with a dash of Classic — I also wear “punk” style clothing now and again.
